Abhaya Mudra is a symbolic hand gesture conveying safety and divine protection that dispels fear.
We are a 501c3 non-profit focused on building an equitable world for women, so that they can feel safe, secure, and empowered, no matter where they are in the world.
We plan to achieve this goal by focusing on basic and STEM education for women, women health, increased awareness on social issues for women, and improved access to resources for women. We hope that our continued efforts on these areas will enable and empower women to be self-confident and self reliant, espeically in underpreviliged societies, and build a better world
Some of the biggest challenges faced by women in underprivileged socities are limited education and resources, discrimination, gender-based violence, and a high mortality rate due to lack of health basic awareness and sanitation. Abhaya Mudra plans to tackle those issues across the globe, one step at a time, through awareness, education, research, and medicine.
